CANCELLATION POLICY

Happy Kids is flexible in terms of time changes and aims to help make your family’s vacation as relaxing as possible! However, once your nanny has been booked and confirmed, we require at least 48 hours’ notice when canceling any days (72 hours’ when canceling any major holidays). If a cancellation is made with less than 48 hours' notice you will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee on a non-holiday and $75.00 cancellation fee on a major holiday.

  • For all bookings that are LESS THAN 20 hours in length Happy Kids collects the amount of $42.87 to secure your booking; the amount of $42.87 is comprised of Happy Kids’ Booking fee, Hawaii State General Excise tax, and Square credit card processing fees. 
  • For all bookings that are MORE THAN 20 hours in length (please note that major holidays are double rate days and as such are counted as double the regular hours (Ex: A major holiday rate sit that is 4 hours in length would be considered the same as a non-major holiday rate sit that is 8 hours in length) a prepaid deposit will be collected for a minimum of 5-40 hours depending on how many hours you have booked. 

Please make all changes and/or cancellations by telephone through our main office at 808-667-5437 during our normal business hours of 10:00am to 4:00pm Hawaii Standard Time, Monday - Friday.

Emailed cancellations, made after 4:00pm HST, will be recorded the following business day at 10:00am. Any cancellations made via text message will NOT be accepted. Inclement weather does not void the cancellation fee.
